Job Description

Fogo de Chao is a renowned Brazilian steakhouse and hospitality company committed to providing guests an unforgettable dining experience centered around the Culinary Art of Churrasco. Established with a passion for bringing the vibrant flavors and traditions of Brazilian churrasco to tables across the country, Fogo de Chao has become synonymous with exceptional service, authentic cuisine, and a warm, welcoming environment. The company operates as a full-service restaurant, specializing in a continuous table-side serving concept where expertly trained Churrasqueiros carve a variety of fire-roasted meats at guests' tables, delivering a unique and interactive dining journey.

At Fogo de Chao, there's a deep commitment not only to guests but also to team members. The organization believes in igniting fire and joy by caring for its employees and fostering communities. The culture is grounded in core values including teamwork, integrity, excellence, humility, and a motto called Deixa Comigo, which means "we've got you." This philosophy creates a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to a purposeful future. The company offers career paths with professional and personal growth opportunities at all levels, making it an excellent place for individuals seeking meaningful, long-term careers in the hospitality industry.

The role of Server / Waiter / Waitress at Fogo de Chao is designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This is a front-line position that plays an essential part in maintaining the restaurant's high standards of service and guest satisfaction. The server's responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, guiding them through the menu, and explaining the preparations and serving concept characteristic of Fogo's unique dining style. Servers work closely with Churrasqueiros, the kitchen, and cashier teams to ensure smooth and efficient service. By balancing attentiveness with professionalism, servers at Fogo de Chao help create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.

This position is available immediately and offers a fixed hourly rate of 16.27, in addition to the opportunity to earn tips, which supplements overall compensation. The job requires physical endurance, including the ability to stand for long periods, transport objects up to 25 pounds, and operate at a quick pace during shifts. Scheduling flexibility is crucial as the position includes working on weekends and holidays. Full-time hourly team members become eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Life insurance and short-term disability coverage are also provided by the company where permitted. Additionally, voluntary benefit options offer coverage such as critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident coverage, permanent life, and pet insurance to meet diverse needs.

Part-time team members are also supported with a Minimum Essential Coverage health plan along with dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, which can begin as soon as the first of the month following hire. They can also opt into voluntary benefits like pet insurance, legal assistance, and identity protection. Fogo de Chao’s inclusive employment practices reflect its commitment to equal opportunity and maintaining a workplace where all individuals have the chance to thrive. This role is ideal for a dynamic, friendly professional seeking to advance their career in a vibrant restaurant environment that values both its guests and its people.
