Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines
- Ability to work autonomously
- Motivated and results-driven
- Thorough knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings including china, glass, flatware, food, and beverage as indicated by the kitchen ticket and the guidebook
- Thorough knowledge of food including preparation and culinary terminology
- Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry 35 pounds

Job Duties
- Serves assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner
- Utilizes thorough knowledge of food including preparation and culinary terminology to provide detailed information to customers about menu items
- Leverages knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits including technical and service procedures
- Interacts graciously with the public and handles multiple duties at the same time
- Participates in daily pre-shift meeting
- Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions including all authorized methods of payment, and maintains knowledge of the POS system
- Executes pre-shift, post-shift, and daily and weekly duties as assigned by supervisor
- Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects such as tables, chairs, highchairs
- Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation
- Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards including clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes
- clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks
- Exercises integrity with scheduling
- Punches in before and out after every scheduled shift
- Follows established procedure for schedule and shift changes
- Takes appropriate lunch breaks when applicable, punching accordingly
- Coordinates holiday, vacation, and any time off with management while considering the needs of the restaurant
