High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain Food Handlers Permit
Compassion for seniors
Effective communication skills
Ability to work in a team
Honesty and dependability
Compliance with health requirements
Background check clearance

Job Qualifications

Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions
Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations
Have compassion for and desire to work with seniors
Perform job duties courteously and professionally
Work cooperatively as part of the dietary team
Demonstrate honesty, fairness, and respect for confidentiality
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors
Meet all health requirements
Pass criminal background check

Job Duties

Deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner
Ensure meals are served according to schedules
Provide first-class customer service to residents and guests
Work as part of the dietary team for efficient kitchen operations
Maintain courteous and professional interaction with residents and team members
Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines
Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas as needed
