Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
  • practice positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive for all guests
  • be aware of guests' needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
  • show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
  • promote teamwork by assisting other servers to ensure outstanding guest service
  • thoroughly understand product specifications and ensure guests' receipts match the number of guests dining
  • perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
  • bring equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
  • follow correct table bussing procedures
  • follow safe work practices to ensure personal safety and that of coworkers and guests
  • perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
  • follow local health department laws
