Job Requirements

legal authorization to work in the United States
ability to stand for extended periods
reliable and punctual
positive attitude and customer service orientation
ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
physical ability to carry trays and lift moderate weights
willingness to follow all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience working as a server is an advantage
basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
friendly and approachable demeanor
ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
enthusiasm for learning about new products and promotions

Job Duties

ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
practice positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive for all guests
be aware of guests' needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
promote teamwork by assisting other servers to ensure outstanding guest service
thoroughly understand product specifications and ensure guests' receipts match the number of guests dining
perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
bring equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
follow correct table bussing procedures
follow safe work practices to ensure personal safety and that of coworkers and guests
perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
follow local health department laws
