Job Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8-hour shift
Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
Must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in the work area
Ability to hear well in a loud environment
Must meet state, county, or municipal health regulations for food handling
Must be able to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
Capacity to serve all Denny's menu products
Ability to operate a point of sale system
Must be able to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must pass all required tests and training for the position

Job Qualifications

Effective communication skills in English both orally and in writing
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Job Duties

Greeting and seating guests in a friendly manner
Taking and delivering food and beverage orders accurately
Suggestively selling menu items to enhance guest experience
Processing payments and handling transactions
Assisting other service personnel as needed
Responding to guest concerns promptly and courteously
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
