The role of Server at Barrymore, located at 8400 N Marston Ave, Kansas City, MO, is a full-time position offering a competitive pay range of $15 to $21.50 per hour. Job Requirements

Must be at least sixteen years of age
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum eighth-grade proficiency
Positive and energetic attitude
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall
Must be criminally cleared

Job Qualifications

At least sixteen years of age
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade level or higher
Positive and energetic attitude
Experience working with seniors or in a similar role preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop for extended periods
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care
Clean criminal background check

Job Duties

Greet residents and make them feel welcome
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and foster social interactions
Prepare tables and meals for service
Roll silverware and prepare salads
Buss tables and sweep floors to maintain cleanliness
Communicate changes in residents' appetite or attendance to supervisors and wellness staff
Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
