Job Requirements

  • Previous server experience in restaurant or hospitality sector required or minimum six months experience working for any of our restaurants as a host, busser or other similar guest interfacing position
  • Must have good performance and manager reference
  • 18 years of age or older as required by state law to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Food handler's card and alcohol awareness training certification where required by state and local laws
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Previous server experience in restaurant or hospitality sector
  • Minimum six months experience in guest interfacing roles such as host or busser within the restaurant
  • Demonstrated good performance and positive manager references

Job Duties

  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests' experience
  • Welcome and greet guests within two minutes of being seated
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes
  • Offer specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations either upon request or based on guests' preferences
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant services
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the point-of-sale system
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
  • Clean and prepare tables for upcoming guests
  • Perform side work as assigned during shifts
  • Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
  • Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
  • Provide proactive beverage refills
  • Prepare final bill, present check, accept payment, and process transactions
  • Assist fellow servers as needed
  • Express appreciation to guests and invite them to return
  • Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions
  • Notify manager of any guest dissatisfaction
  • Cover other servers' duties on breaks as requested
  • Participate in catering events as required
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors
