Job Requirements

Previous server experience in restaurant or hospitality sector required or minimum six months experience working for any of our restaurants as a host, busser or other similar guest interfacing position
Must have good performance and manager reference
18 years of age or older as required by state law to serve alcoholic beverages
Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
Food handler's card and alcohol awareness training certification where required by state and local laws
Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Previous server experience in restaurant or hospitality sector
Minimum six months experience in guest interfacing roles such as host or busser within the restaurant
Demonstrated good performance and positive manager references
Ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale systems
Food handler's card where required
Alcohol awareness training certification where applicable
Eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties

Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests' experience
Welcome and greet guests within two minutes of being seated
Inform guests of specials and menu changes
Offer specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations either upon request or based on guests' preferences
Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant services
Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the point-of-sale system
Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
Clean and prepare tables for upcoming guests
Perform side work as assigned during shifts
Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
Provide proactive beverage refills
Prepare final bill, present check, accept payment, and process transactions
Assist fellow servers as needed
Express appreciation to guests and invite them to return
Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions
Notify manager of any guest dissatisfaction
Cover other servers' duties on breaks as requested
Participate in catering events as required
Perform other duties assigned by supervisors
