Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Must have a friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous serving or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food and wine is beneficial but not required
- Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing safe, friendly and attentive service
- Make guests feel welcome and part of the Olive Garden family
- Explain menu items including food, wine and fresh ingredients to guests
- Take and accurately serve orders in a timely manner
- Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction
