Job Requirements

  • High school education preferred
  • Minimum one year full service restaurant experience
  • Ability to obtain government required licenses or certificates
  • Ability to maintain neat and clean appearance according to company standards
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • High school education is preferred
  • Minimum one year full service restaurant experience
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates such as local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate
  • CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
  • Neat, clean, and well groomed appearance

Job Duties

  • Assists guests in selecting food and beverages by presenting menu

  • Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests’ choices from bar and kitchen

  • Maintains table setting including removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling beverages
  • Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant, thanking guests and inviting them to return
  • Delivers bill in a timely manner and accurately processes payment, returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests
  • Interacts with the staff and guests in a positive manner to achieve 100% guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of the menu in order to assist with guest inquiries/requests as well as be able to accurately identify food and beverage items
  • Assisting in other essential FOH duties including answering phones, taking to go orders and handling payments accurately, accepting reservations and managing them to prevent over booking of the restaurant, assisting hosts in greeting and seating of guests, assisting expos in delivering of food to guests, assisting bussers with pre-bussing, bussing and resetting of tables
  • Completes tasks for each shift according to the needs of the restaurant
