Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of and ability to accurately describe food and beverage offerings
- Ability to use POS systems accurately
- Must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
- Must be able to work and move quickly in tight-space environment safely
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must follow proper cash handling and alcohol service laws
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar
- Must be at least 21 to meet minimum age requirement of the State of California to serve alcoholic beverages
- Food Handlers Card preferred
- ABC Service Certification preferred
- CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred
- Knowledge of teamwork and Toast POS system
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards
- Ability to work under pressure and professionally deal with stressful situations
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills to greet guests, answer guest questions and address guest concerns in a warm, professional, and accommodating manner
- Provide multiple guests food and beverage service in server's section in a quick, professional, and efficient manner
- Knowledge of and ability to accurately describe all food and beverage offerings and specials
- Take accurate orders while maximizing sales using selling techniques and product knowledge
- Exhibit consistently dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy conduct
- Provide exemplary guest service on a consistent basis
