Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of and ability to accurately describe food and beverage offerings
  • Ability to use POS systems accurately
  • Must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
  • Must be able to work and move quickly in tight-space environment safely
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must follow proper cash handling and alcohol service laws
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar
  • Must be at least 21 to meet minimum age requirement of the State of California to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Food Handlers Card preferred
  • ABC Service Certification preferred
  • CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred
  • Knowledge of teamwork and Toast POS system
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and professionally deal with stressful situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
  • Have strong interpersonal communication skills to greet guests, answer guest questions and address guest concerns in a warm, professional, and accommodating manner
  • Provide multiple guests food and beverage service in server's section in a quick, professional, and efficient manner
  • Knowledge of and ability to accurately describe all food and beverage offerings and specials
  • Take accurate orders while maximizing sales using selling techniques and product knowledge
  • Exhibit consistently dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy conduct
  • Provide exemplary guest service on a consistent basis
