Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier objects with assistance
  • ability to perform fine motor skills required for food service
  • ability to follow safety and security policies
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • willingness to work full-time in a non-management role

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to maintain clear and professional communication
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • answer questions on menu selections
  • communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
  • record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights
  • present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
