Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum 8th grade proficiency
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude
- Must be active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking and assist persons after a fall
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade proficiency level
- Positive and energetic attitude toward residents
- Ability to assist residents physically when needed
- Criminal clearance
Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room and mingle with residents
- Prepare tables, salads, and silverware for meal service
- Buss tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff about residents’ dietary habits and changes
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Help persons after a fall
