The Server position at Arrow Senior Living, located at Madison in Kansas City, MO, is a full-time role with a competitive starting wage of $15 per hour. The position plays a vital role in the dining experience, focusing on hospitality, preparation, cleanliness, and communication to ensure residents feel welcomed and cared for during meal services. The Server acts as a Host with the Most by greeting residents warmly and fostering social connections in the dining room. Additionally, the Server is responsible for preparing dining areas, rolling silverware, prepping salads, and ensuring the dining service runs smoothly. Crucial tidiness tasks such as bussing tables and sweeping floors are also part of the role, supporting a clean and inviting environment. This position requires active engagement with residents' dietary needs, including communicating any concerns to supervisors or the wellness team, which is important to maintaining individual residents' well-being. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm, providing a consistent work schedule. Job Requirements
- At least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency level
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls
- Criminal clearance
Job Qualifications
- At least sixteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade proficiency level
- Positive and energetic attitude toward working with residents
- Ability to assist residents with mobility
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods

Job Duties
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room
- Prepare tables, salads, and roll silverware for meal service
- Bus tables and maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors
- Communicate with supervisors and wellness team regarding residents’ dietary habits and meal attendance
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and provide support after falls
- Foster a social environment for residents to connect during meal times
- Maintain active presence and energy throughout the shift
