The role of Server 1 is critical in achieving this objective by providing exemplary food and beverage service to members and guests. Server 1 is responsible for ensuring that every guest interaction is imbued with the company’s signature standards—warm welcomes, creating magic moments, and fond farewells. This non-lead role works closely with team members and management to orchestrate a seamless dining experience that fosters high member satisfaction and retention.

The position reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager, emphasizing the importance of strong communication and collaboration within the team. Server 1 is expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of the à la carte menu, daily specials, and execute orders with precision and timeliness. Beyond delivering perfect service, the role involves assisting colleagues during busy periods, supporting club operations, and embodying professionalism and commitment to the club’s service philosophy.

The diverse duties of Server 1 range from greeting members by name and ensuring they feel at home, to handling complaints effectively by utilizing service recovery techniques. Attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are paramount, as is the willingness to engage in additional tasks as assigned by management. The dynamic nature of the club environment requires flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to contributing to the club’s success.

This role also requires meeting physical demands such as standing for extended periods, working in varying environmental conditions, and the ability to lift and carry items up to 100 lbs occasionally. The tools of the trade for Server 1 include trays, POS systems, bottle openers, and wine tools, making it essential for the candidate to be comfortable with these in a fast-paced setting.
