Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of food service or customer service experience
  • Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems, OpenTable, and reservation management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Capability to manage reservations and guest flow
  • Knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, wines, and cocktails
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor and appearance
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying tasks
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures

Job Duties

  • Create a memorable first impression by greeting guests warmly and genuinely
  • Answer phones with a friendly, professional tone, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries
  • Utilize reservation system and seating chart effectively to manage guest flow
  • Demonstrate thorough menu knowledge to respond to guest questions confidently
  • Engage with multiple guests simultaneously, ensuring exceptional, personalized service
  • Maintain cleanliness by performing housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, and ensuring restrooms are spotless
  • Assist in mentoring and training new team members to foster a collaborative environment
