Job Requirements

  • Two years of college education required, four year degree preferred
  • Two to four years of work experience in management, wine sommelier, or wine bar/winery setting
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Knowledge of wines preferred
  • Skilled at customer service
  • Detail-oriented and reliable
  • Experienced with point-of-sale systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to pass TSA screening and background check
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Physical ability to carry trays and cases of wine

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Knowledge of wines including tasting, evaluation, purchase, and sales preferred
  • Skilled at delivering excellent customer service
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experienced with retail point-of-sale systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to pass TSA screening and background check
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Functional sense of smell and taste
  • Effective English communication skills
  • Physical ability to carry a tray and lift cases of wine

Job Duties

  • Lead and support the team to provide exceptional customer service and wine expertise
  • Train new team members on wine, service, and sales techniques
  • Manage shift operations including task delegation and follow-up
  • Maintain kitchen and bar cleanliness and organization
  • Monitor food quality and safety standards
  • Control inventory and reduce product loss
  • Act as the restaurant leader in the manager’s absence
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures
