As a Senior Wedding Planner, your core responsibility will involve overseeing and delivering exceptional on-site wedding planning services at various venues. You will collaborate closely with assistant coordinators to manage every element of the wedding day, ensuring all details perfectly align with the couple's vision and expectations. Creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive timelines will be a key focus, helping couples navigate their special day with confidence and peace of mind. Beyond logistical coordination, you will also provide emotional support and maintain a calm, reassuring presence during what can be a highly emotional and sometimes stressful time.
Your role involves managing the setup of both ceremony and reception areas, handling day-of operations from the early morning preparations until the event concludes. This responsibility includes greeting and directing vendors to ensure smooth coordination and timely setup based on clearly communicated requirements. You will be tasked with arranging all decorative elements such as seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favors, and guest books to enhance both the event's aesthetic appeal and guest experience.
Additionally, you will assist the wedding party and family members with their needs, respond to inquiries, and take charge of the event's final logistics, including organizing gifts, guest books, and toasting flutes. This hands-on involvement ensures that every wedding is a seamlessly orchestrated celebration, leaving lasting impressions on all attendees. The role demands outstanding organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine passion for helping couples celebrate one of the most special days of their lives.
Weekend availability is essential for this role, as most weddings and related events take place during this time. Reliable transportation is a must, ensuring you can arrive punctually and manage logistics across various venues. Physical stamina is required, including the ability to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs.
