The role of Senior Tax Manager within Aprio’s Client Accounting Services team is a critical leadership position tailored for a seasoned tax professional with substantial experience in federal tax consulting and compliance, particularly within the Restaurant, Hospitality, or Franchise industries. This role involves direct interaction with clients to provide meticulous tax planning, consulting, and compliance services that maximize their financial opportunities and support their business goals. The Senior Tax Manager will work closely with firm partners to deliver innovative and practical tax strategies customized to client needs, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service while aligning with the firm’s standards of excellence.

Additionally, this role encompasses leadership responsibilities including mentoring and managing the assigned tax team to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be a licensed CPA, preferably with recent experience at a public accounting firm and a deep understanding of partnership, S Corporation, and C Corporation tax returns. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong proficiency in tax software and technology, are essential to succeed in this role.
