The Senior Tax Manager position within Aprio's Client Accounting Services team offers a unique career opportunity for experienced tax professionals seeking to advance in a progressive, fast-growing firm. This role is focused specifically on serving clients in the Restaurant, Hospitality, or Franchise industries, providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance services tailored to these sectors. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 8+ years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance
  • Licensed CPA preferred
  • Recent work experience with a public accounting firm
  • Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or franchise industries
  • Knowledge of partnership, S Corporation, and C Corporation tax returns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with tax software and technology

Job Qualifications

  • Licensed CPA preferred
  • Recent work experience with a public accounting firm
  • 8+ years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or franchise industries
  • Heavy experience in partnership, S Corporation, and C Corporation returns
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Job Duties

  • Interact closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services benefiting clients in the restaurant, hospitality or franchise industries
  • Work closely with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategies
  • Work closely with assigned tax team to help follow procedures and develop their effectiveness and efficiency
