Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- four years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- two years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- ability to lead and manage a kitchen team
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- strong organizational and communication skills
- capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
- 2 years relevant experience
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- ability to train and develop staff
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Job Duties
- Lead, influence, and encourage kitchen staff
- manage day-to-day kitchen operations
- prepare food items according to specifications
- supervise cooks and food preparation workers
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- develop new culinary applications and presentations
- manage payroll and staffing
- coach and mentor employees
- oversee purchasing and food storage
- ensure employee certifications are current
- provide exceptional customer service
- monitor and improve team performance
- participate in employee performance appraisals
- attend meetings and communicate effectively
