Constellation is a prominent brand under Elior North America, specializing in delivering high-quality business dining and catering experiences across the United States. With a strong dedication to fostering connections through food and hospitality, Constellation operates in diverse settings ranging from retail spaces to office buildings, providing exceptional service and culinary experiences. Elior North America, the parent company, is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity, inclusion, and the professional growth of its employees. The company values a supportive work environment where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and pursue career advancement opportunities within the organization. Elior’s commitment extends to creating an inclusive culture that respects and values individuals of all backgrounds and abilities.
The Senior Service & Hospitality Manager role at Constellation is a full-time, onsite position based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a compensation range of $85,000 to $95,000 per year, dependent on experience. This role is part of the Dining & Events segment and focuses on managing service operations for large-scale culinary events. The manager will be stationed at Constellation’s Flagship Philadelphia Commissary and will travel throughout the Pennsylvania and New Jersey region to support events at various cultural venues and off-premise locations.
As a Senior Service & Hospitality Manager, you will play a critical leadership role within the Constellation Culinary Events team. Your primary responsibility will be partnering with event producers to bring large-scale and complex events to life, ensuring a seamless guest experience marked by top-tier hospitality at every interaction. You will lead by example, inspiring and coaching the service team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a polished, professional presence in all guest-facing interactions. This position suits a hospitality-driven leader energized by creating remarkable experiences, managing service team growth, and overseeing event execution from planning through completion.
The role requires extensive experience in front-of-house leadership within a high-volume, high-quality hospitality environment such as catering, banquet, or hotel management. You will be expected to manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and maintain strong attention to detail. Your leadership will shape standardized service models, oversee operational procedures, and ensure strict adherence to Constellation Culinary Group’s standards for service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
You will lead onsite event execution, acting as the subject matter expert for service and event management while serving as a Lead Event Captain for tastings, setups, and event days. Creating clear assignments and steps of service for varied event sizes will be a key part of your role, along with monitoring event flow and service quality in real time to ensure excellence and profitability. Managing labor, beverage costs, and operational logistics will also be under your purview.
Your responsibilities extend to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new event staff members, as well as providing ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and development support for service associates. Collaborating with staff and management through regular meetings will ensure alignment with client requirements and operational goals, while you help foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused culture within the team.
This comprehensive leadership position requires flexibility, including availability on nights and weekends, reflecting the varied schedules typical of large event hospitality services. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Canva is also essential to support event planning and communication needs. Joining Constellation in this capacity offers the chance to work with a passionate team dedicated to hospitality excellence, growth opportunities within Elior North America, and the satisfaction of contributing to memorable event experiences.
