Job Description

Kismet Event Planning & Design LLC is a premier luxury event planning and design company based in Southern California. Renowned for crafting unforgettable experiences, the company specializes in high-end corporate events, weddings, and large-scale cultural celebrations. Kismet has built a strong reputation within the event planning industry due to its commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and ability to bring every client’s vision to life. As a leader in the luxury event market, Kismet partners with some of the most sought-after venues and industry professionals to deliver sophisticated and seamless events that exceed client expectations. With a collaborative and high-performance team, Kismet fosters a dynamic work environment focused on creativity, innovation, and growth.

The role available is for a Senior Sales Representative, a pivotal position responsible for driving revenue growth within Kismet’s luxury event portfolio. This role demands a strategic, results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales leadership and relationship-building within the event planning, hospitality, or related client-facing industries. This is not an entry-level role; rather, it requires an experienced closer who possesses an existing network and a deep understanding of delivering luxury client experiences. The Senior Sales Representative will cultivate and leverage relationships with venues, planners, and coordinators, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-value clients and consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets.

This position encompasses ownership of the entire sales cycle from initial outreach and consultations to contract negotiations and closing deals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with planning and production teams to guarantee a smooth client journey from booking to event execution. With a focus on key market segments such as corporate events, weddings, and large cultural gatherings—especially those rooted in South Asian traditions—the Senior Sales Representative will bring specialized knowledge and cultural competency essential for these unique client needs.

Moreover, proficiency with CRM and sales management tools like HoneyBook, QuickBooks Online, Trello, and Google Suite is essential for tracking activities and performance. This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of Southern California’s top luxury event brands, offering access to a renowned brand reputation, high-quality inbound leads, and a clear path for professional growth and increased earning potential. Candidates will benefit from working in an empowering, team-oriented environment where their contributions directly impact company success and client satisfaction. With competitive benefits including a 401(k) plan and performance bonuses, Kismet provides a rewarding package for top sales talent eager to advance their careers in a thriving luxury event market.
