Job Description

Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its exceptional service, diverse portfolio of world-class hotel brands, and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences. With a presence in numerous countries, Hilton has welcomed over 3 billion guests worldwide, establishing itself as a trusted name synonymous with quality and innovation in hotel management and travel services. This prestigious company has also been consistently recognized for its outstanding workplace culture, earning repeated accolades on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune. Hilton’s enduring vision is to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, a mission reflected in every aspect of its operations and upheld by every team member. Joining Hilton means becoming part of a company that values integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and delivering excellence with urgency and discipline.

The Senior Sales Manager role at Hilton is a pivotal position within the Hotels team, dedicated to driving sales growth and enhancing guest satisfaction through skilled management of group sales activities. This is a full-time role ideal for experienced professionals with a minimum of three years in hotel sales management within a full-service hotel environment. The position requires the ability to travel quarterly for tradeshows and client visits, reflecting the dynamic and externally focused nature of the job. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will not only be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing the entire sales cycle but also for fostering relationships that promote long-term client loyalty and brand strength.

Your daily responsibilities will include representing the hotel to prospective clients, acting as the primary contact for group rooms, meeting spaces, food and beverage services, and other amenities. You will need to creatively develop strategic sales plans that align with Hilton’s ambitious revenue targets and adjust these plans based on market trends and performance data. A crucial part of your role will also involve analyzing sales outcomes to identify areas of improvement, strengthening the hotel's competitive position in the marketplace. Moreover, the role demands collaboration across departments to ensure the fulfillment of client contracts while maintaining Hilton’s high standards of service excellence.

Beyond the core sales activities, the Senior Sales Manager is expected to inspire and lead the sales team by providing coaching, monitoring performance, and fostering an environment of motivation and productivity. Hilton values leadership and teamwork highly, encouraging this role to act as a mentor and supportive figure for colleagues.

Hilton offers a competitive compensation package that includes a robust Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), rewarding the Sales, Catering, and Events teams for their contributions to the company’s overall success. The SIP features a quarterly bonus that represents 20 percent of bonus-eligible earnings, with the potential for multiple weighted objectives, thereby providing numerous opportunities for enhancing earning potential. This incentive structure underscores Hilton’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding excellence and achievement within its workforce.

This position also benefits from Hilton’s supportive and award-winning workplace culture that promotes career development, inclusivity, and work-life balance. Hilton encourages team members to explore career growth opportunities and provides resources to support professional advancement and skill development. As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be joining not only a leading company but also a community devoted to excellence, innovation, and personal growth. If you possess strong knowledge of hotel sales, hospitality industry expertise, and preferably experience with Hilton brands and systems such as Delphi FDC and OnQ, this role offers a fulfilling chance to make a significant impact in a respected global brand.
