The role of the Senior Sales Manager at Hilton is pivotal to driving the company's success in group sales, catering, and events. As a Senior Sales Manager, you are entrusted with the responsibility of representing Hilton to prospective clients by acting as the primary liaison for customers seeking group rooms, meeting spaces, and food and beverage services. This position requires strong proactive sales efforts that include responding to inquiries, initiating outreach, qualifying leads, and soliciting new business opportunities. Managing the entire sales cycle—from conducting site visits and entertaining clients to preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring fulfillment—is essential to this role. Strategic planning is also a key component, requiring the creation and execution of sales strategies designed to meet or surpass revenue and room night goals while adapting to market conditions. Additionally, analyzing sales performance and identifying areas of improvement are important aspects to maintain competitive edge and enhance conversion rates. Collaboration and coordination with multiple departments ensure that Hilton consistently delivers outstanding service standards and client satisfaction. As a leader, the Senior Sales Manager provides supervision, motivation, and development opportunities to the sales team to foster productivity and a cohesive work environment.
Hilton rewards dedication and outstanding contributions through its competitive Short-Term Incentive Plan (SIP), which offers quarterly bonuses based on individually weighted objectives, representing 20 percent of bonus-eligible earnings. This incentive structure encourages employees to excel and align their efforts with Hilton’s financial and service goals. Moreover, Hilton provides exceptional benefits that promote work-life balance and personal growth. These include travel discounts, stock purchase programs, paid parental leave, mental health resources, paid time off, and comprehensive health plans. Hilton’s commitment to the well-being of its team members complements its mission to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality, making it not only an excellent destination for career growth but also a supportive and rewarding workplace where every team member can thrive and contribute to creating magical guest experiences.
