Job Description

The role of Senior Sales Manager at Hyatt is a key position that involves significant responsibilities in driving the hotel’s sales initiatives. This position is designed for a fully competent professional with extensive experience in the sales processes and functions specific to the hospitality industry. A Senior Sales Manager at Hyatt is expected to be a career sales professional and a top performer, adept at direct sales with a proven track record of commitment and expertise. The role requires the ability to sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and other hotel services to diverse customer groups effectively.
In this role, the Senior Sales Manager will manage key accounts, conduct site inspections, solicit and generate new business, and prepare and present compelling proposals tailored to potential clients. Maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt’s proprietary systems, and coordinating customer service requirements are also critical aspects of the job. This manager will often participate in and may lead various meetings including event consultations, sales meetings, and staff meetings, working closely within the sales and catering teams, along with assigned administrative assistants and support staff.

Job Requirements
- Must have 3-5 years of hotel sales experience
- must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- must have selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
