The Sales Manager – Large Group & Customer Segments plays a critical role in Marriott’s business strategy by proactively soliciting business and managing large group segments with significant revenue potential. This management role entails aligning customer profiles with appropriate property products to maximize revenue opportunities and driving both individual and team-related sales goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales plans, negotiating complex contracts, and leveraging creative selling skills to close business opportunities. Job Requirements
- Two-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with five years' experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
- OR four-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with three years of experience in sales and marketing or related professional area
- Ability to manage complex business opportunities with significant revenue potential
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive in soliciting new business
- Competent in managing large group or customer segments
- Willingness to work full-time onsite in San Francisco
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Two-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with five years of relevant experience
