Being an equal opportunity employer, The Ritz-Carlton values the unique backgrounds of its associates and is committed to non-discrimination on any protected basis, ensuring a welcoming and supportive workplace.
The Sales Management position located at 1881 Curtis St, Denver, Colorado, is an integral role within The Ritz-Carlton team, focused on driving substantial revenue opportunities through proactive solicitation and effective account management. This full-time management role offers an attractive pay range from $39.90 to $50.48 per hour and is bonus eligible, reflecting the importance of achieving both personal and team revenue goals. The position handles larger group or customer segments contributing significant revenue potential, requiring the ability to align customer profiles with appropriate product offerings and maximize results through upselling and sound negotiation skills.
Sales Managers at The Ritz-Carlton in Denver actively interact with current and prospective clients to identify, qualify, and solicit new business, developing strategic sales plans tailored to the local and broader market conditions. They leverage their comprehensive understanding of competitor strengths, economic trends, and supply-demand dynamics to position The Ritz-Carlton’s offerings convincingly against the competition. Responsible for closing the best business opportunities and managing complex negotiations, the role demands creativity and effective communication skills that translate market intelligence into tangible sales results.
Additionally, this role builds and strengthens relationships not only with customers but also within the local community to expand the sales funnel. By participating in sales calls, trade shows, entertainment events, and familiarization trips (FAM), Sales Managers ensure the continued growth of their account base. The successful candidate will also manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless business turnover and compliance with brand standards for service excellence.
The role goes beyond selling by facilitating contract execution, coordinating operational business aspects, and consistently applying The Ritz-Carlton’s Gold Standards. These standards include core values such as the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values that guide daily operations to guarantee superior guest satisfaction and uphold the luxury brand's prestigious reputation. Joining The Ritz-Carlton means belonging to a global team of professionals committed to delivering extraordinary luxury hospitality and empowering each member to be the best version of themselves while embracing their professional purpose.
The Sale Manager position is perfect for professionals with a 2-year degree and 5 years of related experience, or a 4-year bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, hotel, or restaurant management sectors. The role demands high-level market insight, creative selling strategies, and superior relationship-building abilities. Benefits include health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, employee discounts, and career development opportunities, designed to support both the individual and their family. Working at The Ritz-Carlton delivers not only a job but a career at the forefront of global luxury hospitality, offering continual growth, recognition, and the chance to create lifelong memories for both guests and associates.
