The role of Sales Manager at HHM Hotels is a vital position aimed at driving revenue growth and strengthening guest satisfaction through strategic account management and business development. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year and the opportunity for career advancement through progression to Property Director of Sales, Area Director of Sales, and Regional Director of Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, maximizing sales opportunities, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery. By building and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential clients, the Sales Manager plays a critical role in achieving and surpassing hotel revenue goals while upholding the brand standards and HHM’s core values of People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It.

In this role, the Sales Manager leads by example through selecting, training, and coaching associates to deliver top-tier service and maintain high performance standards. A key aspect of the position includes traveling locally to conduct sales calls, represent the hotel at trade shows, and stay informed of industry trends and competition. Job Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or related industry preferred
  • Proven track record in sales required
  • Previous hospitality sales experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Interview select train schedule coach and support associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values
  • Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous current and potential clients
  • Use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer internal and external requirements
  • Manage accounts ensuring pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented
  • Coordinate various departments participation in servicing accounts
  • Maintain hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and account revenue
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Articulate and leverage the benefits of the hotel to close sales opportunities
  • Travel locally to conduct outside calls promote the hotel and review competition
  • Represent hotel at trade shows
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
