Job Description

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a distinguished hospitality company known for operating upscale hotels and resorts across the United States. With a commitment to excellence in guest service and innovative hospitality experiences, Crestline Hotels & Resorts has established a reputation for quality and a strong presence in key urban and resort markets. The company focuses on creating memorable stays that combine comfort, luxury, and authentic local touches, appealing to both business and leisure travelers. Situated in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, one of the most vibrant and dynamic urban centers in the country, Crestline has re-launched a landmark property known previously as The Standard Hotel. Now reborn as The Delphi Hotel, this location represents a fresh and independent concept that integrates a stunning new lobby and reimagined food and beverage programs. Most notably, the original iconic rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar experience has been fully renovated and revitalized as the UCA Terraza Rooftop, offering guests spectacular views alongside contemporary hospitality and entertainment options. This historic hotel serves as an exciting and fresh destination for visitors and locals alike, designed to enhance the cultural and social vibrancy of Downtown Los Angeles.

The role of Senior Group Sales Manager at The Delphi Hotel is an integral leadership position within this burgeoning urban hotel environment. The Senior Group Sales Manager will primarily be responsible for driving group sales efforts across various market segments, leveraging both independent judgment and professional discretion to secure profitable business bookings within the hotel’s conference center. This position plays a critical role in aligning the hotel’s group sales strategies with corporate revenue objectives while maintaining keen insight into market trends and client needs. The successful candidate will be expected to develop, implement, and monitor targeted sales programs designed to maximize room occupancy and conference bookings, translating into tangible revenue gains for the property.

Key responsibilities of this position include selling group rooms, servicing client accounts, and actively pursuing leads within assigned market segments. The Senior Group Sales Manager must work collaboratively with multiple hotel departments, including the Reservations and Accounting teams, to ensure that bookable revenue targets are met, day-to-day communications about in-house groups are maintained, and all administrative processes related to group bookings are completed accurately and timely. This role involves using data and market analysis to evaluate current business opportunities, anticipate challenges, and craft innovative sales initiatives that appeal to diverse market segments. The candidate will represent The Delphi Hotel at industry trade association meetings and cultivate strong owner relationships to foster ongoing business development.

Ideal candidates for this position possess a background in hotel and conference center sales, with a preference for professionals who have demonstrated success in managing group sales strategies in a competitive urban setting. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, reflecting the seniority and strategic impact of this role within the hotel’s organizational structure. In addition to the monetary compensation, the Senior Group Sales Manager will find this role rewarding due to its direct influence on hotel operations, revenue generation, and guest satisfaction. This employment opportunity is full-time and offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to the continued rise of an iconic Downtown Los Angeles property under the Crestline Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
