Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience needed
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 10 pounds
- Willingness to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
- Ability to work full time on-site at Tampa Marriott Water Street
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
- Professional communication skills both in person and over the phone
- Proficiency in general office software and sales-related software
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Job Duties
- Perform general office duties to support sales and marketing such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying
- Prepare sales-related documents including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders
- Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
- Gather materials and assemble information packages including brochures and promotional materials
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information such as commissions, leads, and third parties in sales software
- Answer guest questions about property facilities, services, and promotions
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Welcome guests according to company standards and anticipate service needs
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers
- Comply with quality assurance standards
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and carrying objects under 10 pounds
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
