Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience needed
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting objects up to 10 pounds
  • Willingness to follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to work full time on-site at Tampa Marriott Water Street

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
  • Professional communication skills both in person and over the phone
  • Proficiency in general office software and sales-related software
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Job Duties

  • Perform general office duties to support sales and marketing such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying
  • Prepare sales-related documents including proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
  • Gather materials and assemble information packages including brochures and promotional materials
  • Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information such as commissions, leads, and third parties in sales software
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities, services, and promotions
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Welcome guests according to company standards and anticipate service needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers
  • Comply with quality assurance standards
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and carrying objects under 10 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
