We are currently seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to join our team, a critical role based at one of our distribution center operations. This position is integral to upholding workplace safety standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading initiatives that champion a culture of safety. Reporting to the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention, the Senior Safety Specialist will work hands-on within production environments, promoting HelloFresh’s vision for a safe workplace, inspiring change, and driving safety performance improvements.

The role requires a highly motivated professional with expertise in environmental management, compliance, occupational safety, risk management, and occupational health. The Specialist will oversee OSHA compliance, including training for powered industrial trucks, lockout/tagout procedures, machine guarding, and chemical safety protocols. Responsibilities include supporting accident investigations, conducting root cause analyses, managing safety data, and mentoring safety meeting facilitators to enhance effectiveness.

The Senior Safety Specialist also plays a pivotal role in managing relationships with contractors and visitors to ensure adherence to safety policies, assisting with site emergency action plans, job safety analyses, and enhancing forklift operation safety through targeted training and coaching. The position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to influence all organizational levels, and a commitment to continuous improvement practices.
