We are currently seeking a Senior Roadway Inspector to join our team in Celebration, Florida. This role offers the chance to be involved in a signature project in the region, where you will play a critical role in overseeing roadway and bridge construction inspection activities. The Senior Roadway Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that construction complies with contract specifications, documenting site activities, coordinating with project administration, and conducting detailed testing and inspections. This position is ideal for a candidate with extensive experience in construction inspection, particularly in roadway and bridge projects, and expertise in applicable industry certifications and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications.

As a Senior Roadway Inspector at EXP, you will have diverse and important duties that contribute directly to the success of large infrastructure projects. You will maintain close oversight of contractors, verifying compliance with contract requirements and providing essential documentation to support accurate payments and minimize extra work orders. Your responsibilities will include the review of construction drawings, attendance at progress meetings to provide insights and feedback, supervision of junior inspectors, and hands-on testing of materials such as soils, concrete, steel, and masonry. Your analytical skills and attention to safety protocols will be critical as you monitor work zone traffic control and ensure adherence to safety standards. Additionally, this position may occasionally require weekend and evening work based on project needs, reflecting the dynamic nature of construction schedules.
