The Senior Revenue Manager role at Four Seasons is a remote position supporting 2-3 hotels within the Americas region. This pivotal role focuses on maximizing room revenue while increasingly expanding into total revenue management that includes food and beverage, spa, and catering services. The Senior Revenue Manager is responsible for translating complex business analytics into strategic, actionable plans that contribute to the financial success of the hotels. This position involves leading and guiding hotel revenue management teams through effective and measurable strategies, ensuring alignment and collaboration across various departments. Responsibilities include preparing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and leveraging revenue management systems like IDeaS G3 to optimize pricing and inventory distribution. The role also demands active partnership with operations and marketing teams, driving initiatives in online travel agency promotions, corporate campaigns, and merchandising strategies across different platforms. To succeed in this role, strong analytical abilities, expert knowledge of revenue management tools, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to influence decision-making through data-driven insights are essential. Job Requirements

  • Degree in revenue management, hotel/lodging management or business administration
  • Minimum 5 years experience in revenue management and/or hotel operations
  • Experience managing revenue across multiple hotels preferred
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and database management
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Hyperion Enterprise, IDeaS G3, TravelClick, Lighthouse, Opera PMS preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in gaining consensus through business analytics

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in Revenue Management, Hotel/Lodging Management or Business Administration
  • 5 years of experience working in revenue management and/or hotel operations
  • Multiple hotel revenue management experience preferred
  • Experience and strong knowledge of spreadsheets, pivot tables and database use
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion Enterprise, IDeaS G3 Revenue Management, TravelClick, Lighthouse, and Opera PMS preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to condense complex data into meaningful strategy
  • Strong time management skills and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to present contrarian viewpoints and gain consensus through business analytics
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Create annual budget and monthly forecasts for rooms occupancy, ADR and revenue
  • Interpret business analytics into meaningful action to improve performance
  • Create and submit hotel forecasts leveraging IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System and monitor accuracy on weekly basis
  • Manage inventory through all distribution channels for optimal availability
  • Lead optimal pricing strategy and analysis and recommendations
  • Build consensus within Revenue Strategy Team to move new initiatives forward
  • Lead and present weekly Revenue Strategy and Forecast Meetings
  • Drive total revenue management business analytics and opportunities
  • Partner with operations to implement new initiatives and measure results
  • Engage regularly with OTA Market Managers, corporate marketing, agencies, and vendors on campaign management opportunities
  • Take ownership of merchandising strategies including web featured package display, online upsell descriptions, GDS sequence, OTA placement and store participation
  • Act as business owner of Opera, BI tools, IDeaS G3 revenue management system, and future RM systems for catering, F&B, etc
