Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade
  • Two years of customer service experience or two years of experience performing work comparable to a Recreation Leader II with the City of Brentwood
  • Possession of a valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification at time of hire
  • Availability to work on Saturdays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as emptying trash receptacles

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of twelfth grade or equivalent
  • Two years of customer service experience or comparable experience as a Recreation Leader II with the City of Brentwood
  • Possession of valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work Saturdays
  • Basic problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with public event protocols

Job Duties

  • Serve as the Citys day-of point of contact during special events
  • Verify event setup and operations align with approved plans
  • Ensure compliance with City policies, permit conditions, and special event rules
  • Address issues in real time during events
  • Perform basic site support tasks such as emptying City trash receptacles
  • Communicate effectively with event organizers, vendors, and the public
  • Report to the Parks and Recreation Department on event outcomes and any incidents
