Job Description

LATICRETE International is a globally recognized construction brand specializing in high-performance tile and stone installation systems and building finishing solutions. With over 65 years in the industry and three generations of family ownership, LATICRETE has established a strong presence in over 100 countries worldwide. The company is proudly recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and integrity, and was honored as one of Connecticut's top family-owned companies by the Hartford Business Journal in 2017. LATICRETE’s mission extends beyond manufacturing industry-leading products; the company aims to improve the built environment and enhance the lives of those involved in construction worldwide.

Working at LATICRETE means joining a family-oriented culture that values teamwork, loyalty, and continuous improvement. The organization nurtures an inclusive environment where employees are encouraged to grow professionally and contribute positively to their communities, industry, and the global society. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a company that not only delivers quality products but also invests heavily in employee development and welfare.

The Quality Control (QC) Lead Technician position is an essential role within the LATICRETE manufacturing plant. Reporting directly to the Regional Quality Control Manager and plant management, this position requires both leadership and hands-on expertise. The QC Lead Technician is responsible for supervising less experienced QC staff, ensuring that all products conform to stringent quality standards, and maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and ISO 9001 requirements. This role emphasizes continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing and quality control environments.

A typical day includes managing and executing advanced laboratory testing, monitoring quality control processes, and ensuring accuracy and traceability of all testing data. The QC Lead Technician leads the enforcement of good laboratory practices, organizes lab workflows using 5S methodologies, and oversees the training of other QC personnel. Effective communication with production teams is a key component, ensuring smooth product flow and swift resolution of any quality issues. The role also involves data collection and analysis to support key performance indicators, contributing to operational excellence.

This position operates on a first shift schedule from 6 AM to 4:30 PM in the United States. Alongside competitive hourly pay, LATICRETE offers an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, vacation, sick time, and various insurance plans. The ideal candidate has substantial QC lab experience, strong technical skills, and a passion for quality and continuous improvement. If you are eager to make a significant impact in a reputable global company and enjoy a collaborative work environment, this role at LATICRETE could be your next career challenge.
