The Senior Project Manager role at CGCS is a vital leadership position designed for a seasoned professional who thrives in managing complex commercial construction projects from inception through to completion. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, in addition to performance-based bonuses. Job Requirements

  • Approximately three years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Approximately three years of construction leadership experience
  • Experience reviewing project estimates, budgets, and project financials
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Ability to travel to site locations as required
  • Willingness to mentor and support project managers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Approximately three years of commercial construction project management experience leading projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Approximately three years of construction leadership experience providing direction, mentoring team members, and promoting accountability and collaboration
  • Experience reviewing project estimates, budgets, and project financials to support accuracy, constructability, and profitability
  • Confidence using construction management software, Microsoft 365 applications, cloud-based file management, mobile devices, and other technology to improve project management processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to safety, quality, professionalism, and continuous improvement
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively

Job Duties

  • Lead multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to CGCS's uncompromising standards
  • Mentor and support Project Managers by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and helping develop their professional growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders through proactive communication and exceptional service
  • Review project estimates, budgets, schedules, and change orders to support accurate project planning and long-term profitability
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement solutions that improve project outcomes
  • Ensure project documentation, contracts, financial reporting, and closeout documents are accurate and maintained in accordance with company standards
  • Collaborate with field leadership to promote effective coordination between office and field operations
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management systems, workflows, and company processes
  • Support company leadership in strategic planning and the continued growth of the organization
