This full-time position is based in Tempe, Arizona, and operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires strong leadership to drive profitable business relationships, high customer satisfaction, and effective collaboration within customer focus teams. Ideal candidates come from a CNC manufacturing background and bring extensive program management experience, with a proven ability to manage complex customer accounts and lead teams to success.\n\nIn this role, the Program Manager serves as the primary day-to-day contact for customers, ensuring the overall health of relationships and managing resolution of issues. Responsibilities include prioritizing and monitoring customer focus team activities, executing new product introductions while adhering to standard processes, and maintaining thorough knowledge of customer products, roadmaps, and market competition. The manager is also responsible for pricing negotiations, scheduling and preparing for Executive Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews, and ensuring contract compliance in areas such as payment terms, warranty coverage, and cost recovery.\n\nAdditionally, the Program Manager actively monitors and drives improvements in technical, scheduling, financial, and quality metrics, utilizing root cause analysis and problem-solving tools to address challenges. This role demands strong negotiating skills, financial acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Leadership responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring employees, establishing measurable goals, and promoting a lean culture focused on cost reduction and process efficiency. The position requires adaptability to change, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and geographies. Job Requirements
- 4-year degree in engineering discipline or business
- 8+ years of program management experience
- 5+ years in a leadership role

Job Duties
- Lead the customer focus team (CFT)
- Act as the primary day-to-day customer point of contact and manage resolution of issues
- Ensure successful new product introduction by executing to NPI standard process
- Monitor sales and operations planning (S&OP) and secure necessary skills for effective transitions
- Manage pricing and engineering change order (ECO) prioritization
- Maintain customer product knowledge and roadmap
- Conduct Executive Business Reviews (EBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) including meeting preparation and alignment
- Communicate critical issues to general managers and global program managers and drive continuous improvements
- Ensure build and delivery schedules meet customer, supply chain, and operations requirements
- Resolve excess and obsolete inventory issues
- Manage costs related to ECO, non-recurring expenses (NRE), and related items
- Ensure customer demand is managed according to contract and site objectives
- Track and report on-time delivery and monitor customer revenue plan
- Understand and enforce contractual obligations including flexibility, payment terms, penalties, cost reduction, warranty, and recall terms
- Conduct program reviews and customer quotations ensuring accuracy and risk assessment
- Coordinate supply chain strategies aligned with contracts
- Manage inventory exposure and standard costs
- Ensure quality standards are met through monitoring DPPM, DPU, DPMO, and customer escapes
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Promote problem solving tools and continuous improvement
- Negotiate sales agreements effectively
- Recruit, coach, and manage team members
- Establish clear goals and drive performance
- Foster a lean culture and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Embrace change and adaptability
- Use analytical skills for problem solving and decision making
