The Senior Program Manager position within Hyatt's Commercial Services Project Management Office (PMO) is a strategic role focused on driving some of the company’s most impactful and high-visibility initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with leaders and teams across Commercial Services as well as other critical business functions to ensure alignment and execution of key programs. This position is integral in overseeing large, complex programs from initial strategy development through successful delivery, ensuring that outcomes align with Hyatt's business priorities. The Senior Program Manager is tasked with managing interdependencies, mitigating risks, and fostering stakeholder engagement to build consensus and drive decision-making.

  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • PMP certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management
  • experience working in complex, cross-functional environments spanning business, operations, loyalty, product, and technology teams
  • experience working with senior leadership stakeholders
  • hospitality industry experience with an understanding of operational adoption and end-user experience at the property or customer level
  • familiarity with agile, innovation, or iterative delivery approaches preferred
  • clear, concise communicator capable of translating complex initiatives into actionable priorities, risks, decisions, and status updates
  • experience with Smartsheet or similar tools
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, Product Management, Hospitality Management, Project Management or related field preferred
  • PMP Certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Own and lead program strategy, execution, and delivery for large-scale business-critical initiatives
  • develop and maintain integrated program roadmaps across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
  • lead cross-functional coordination while managing dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations
  • partner with senior leadership to define program objectives, priorities, and success metrics
  • deliver executive-level communications, reporting, and strategic updates to stakeholders
  • drive accountability, alignment, and decision-making across business and technology teams
  • oversee program financials including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • identify opportunities to enhance and standardize program management processes and best practices
  • mentor and support junior program and project managers to strengthen team capabilities
