Located at Linfield University, the Senior Production Cook position offers a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $20 to $22 per hour. The role is designed for individuals who are passionate about food preparation, customer service, and reducing food waste. As a Senior Production Cook, you will play a crucial part in preparing a variety of nutritious hot and cold dishes for different meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events. This position requires adherence to complex recipes and cooking techniques, as well as the ability to produce both small and large batch goods using classical and contemporary culinary methods.

This role also involves a leadership component where you may oversee production staff, train new team members, and assign tasks to ensure optimal kitchen operations. Promptness and reliability are essential, with expectations to show up on time and fulfill scheduled shifts consistently.   • 4 or more years of related work experience preferred
  • Ability to follow complex recipes and product directions
  • Availability to work any shift including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare portion cook and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast lunch dinner and special catered events
  • Follow complex recipes and product directions
  • Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking plating and garnishing techniques
  • May have oversight over the production staff train and assign tasks
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
