The Senior Event Producer role at EA is a critical position within the Marketing department, designed for a seasoned professional to lead and execute the planning and production of high-profile, immersive events that enhance the EA brand and engage global audiences. Based in hybrid work models in Los Angeles, Vancouver, or Guildford, this role requires a dynamic leader who excels in collaboration, stakeholder influence, and strategic event management across various event types including creator events, press interactions, consumer engagements, commercial showcases, content shoots, and major industry trade shows. Reporting to a Global Event Lead, the Senior Event Producer drives alignment with the global franchise event strategy, ensuring that every event is premium, safe, inclusive, and meets defined campaign and brand objectives.
Key responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver seamless in-person and digital events, coordinating with internal departments like Brand, Strategy, Integrated Communications, IT, and Security. The role demands oversight of event logistics, budget management, contractual negotiations, and technology platforms, while prioritizing accessibility and inclusivity. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event production, marketing, or program management
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Proficiency with event technology platforms and tools
- Understanding of broadcast production and digital event platforms
- Ability to negotiate and manage contracts
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in event production, marketing, program management
- Previous experience in Livestream Production / Production Management is a plus
- Good understanding of event platforms, broadcast and technology
- Familiarity with Game Development is a plus
- Critical thinker who can analyze situations and come up with creative solutions that are compliant with EA policy
- Able to work independently while ensuring process compliance, proactively asking for guidance and feedback
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage and present to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
- Strong ethical character capable of handling confidential and financial information
- Interpersonal savvy to work effectively with remote colleagues across departments and time zones
- Highly proficient in Google Suite/Drive, MS Office
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Airtable skills
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD experience is a plus
- Meet all travel eligibility requirements for international travel including valid passport, necessary visas, vaccinations, and testing
- Entertainment and/or gaming industry knowledge is a plus
Job Duties
- Work cross functionally with internal teams and manage external vendors to create high quality and engaging in-person and digital event and broadcast experiences that meet global campaign and brand objectives
- Drive and align franchise event strategy and specific event plans in partnership with cross functional teams including Brand, Strategy, Integrated Communications, IT and Security teams
- Partner with local territory teams across the globe to deliver event experiences to a global audience
- Work with Brand and Comms teams to define gameplay experiences, write briefs for events, and partner with franchise development teams on delivery of these experiences as part of the ongoing development roadmap
- Manage a matrix of vendors including experiential and design agencies, production partners including design, build, print, AV, video production and broadcast, ensuring smooth collaboration with specialist agencies for Gameplay IT, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity as well as digital event platforms, and travel services
- Negotiate and review contracts and act as a point of contact for event vendors and internal partners, such as legal, security, treasury and finance teams
- Ensure EA’s events are accessible and inclusive to its audiences
