The Senior Private Wealth Advisor, Practice Lead (Personal Strategy) is a pivotal role within Empower, primarily serving high-net-worth clients in the Sacramento area. This position blends leadership with hands-on advisory responsibilities, acting as the trusted advisor and primary contact for clients. The role is designed to retain and grow clients' net assets through personalized, strategic financial advice, ensuring a first-class client experience characterized by empathy, clarity, and insight. While this position leads a dedicated client team including a Wealth Advisor and a Client Experience Specialist, it is not a direct people management role but one that influences team dynamics and client interactions.
This position offers competitive base pay ranging from $125,400 to $181,875 annually, along with bonus compensation, reflecting the importance of performance in client retention and asset growth. The role demands a blend of financial acumen, client relationship skills, and leadership qualities to maintain and expand a robust client portfolio. Key responsibilities include client onboarding, financial planning, investor education, comprehensive relationship management, and proactive communication. The advisor also serves as a liaison across various Empower departments to coordinate seamless client service and provide holistic financial planning covering retirement, taxes, income optimization, education planning, and estate strategies.
Candidates must be comfortable meeting clients in person as needed, requiring some travel within the Sacramento region, and must bring a deep understanding of wealth management and financial strategies. This role requires significant experience in the financial services sector, especially dealing with high-net-worth clients and complex financial plans. Certifications such as FINRA Series 65 and CFP (highly preferred) are necessary to ensure regulatory compliance and professional expertise. Empower's commitment to diversity and equal opportunity ensures an inclusive hiring process and supportive workplace culture.
In summary, the Senior Private Wealth Advisor, Practice Lead position at Empower is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned financial professional seeking to lead a high-impact client service team, deliver tailored wealth management solutions, and help clients achieve long-term financial success.
