This job opportunity is for an onsite position located in Tucson, Arizona, at RTX’s facility on 1151 E Hermans Rd. The role demands active U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable DoD Secret security clearance prior to the start date, underscoring the trusted nature of the work. The role, designated as a Sub IPTL (Sub Integrated Product Team Lead) within the Naval Power Product Line, focuses on value stream capacity activities critical to transitioning complex defense systems from development into production. Responsibilities include managing Test equipment integration, factory optimization, supplier capacity growth, test optimization, yield improvement, and the implementation of Manufacturing Verification Testing, all fundamental to supporting and advancing the production lifecycle.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across diverse groups including Systems Engineering, Software, Firmware, Test Equipment, and Production Test Engineers. This role involves direct oversight of project lifecycle phases—requirements definition through system integration to final delivery—while managing schedule, budget, resources, and risks. The Sub IPTL plays a pivotal role in technical monitoring, obsolescence management, and driving strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the value stream.

Applicants should have a minimum of ten years relevant experience supported by a STEM bachelor’s degree, with proven skills in hardware, software, and firmware integration, project leadership, and Earned Value Management System certification. Preferred qualifications include experience with prime hardware design, complex system troubleshooting with advanced test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, and familiarity with model-based systems engineering and Agile development practices.
