This particular role is based onsite at the Tucson, Arizona location and requires an active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance prior to the start date, along with U.S. citizenship due to security clearance eligibility requirements. The position is part of the Naval Power Product Line and focuses on managing value stream capacity activities, making it a critical component in the transition from development to full production. The successful candidate will oversee integration of test equipment, factory optimization, supplier capacity enhancement, test optimization, yield improvement, and implementation of Manufacturing Verification Testing (MVT). This role demands a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills, as the individual will manage teams and foster collaboration across multiple disciplines including systems, software, firmware, and test engineering.

The Sub IPTL (Integrated Product Team Lead) will be tasked with leading all phases of complex project lifecycles, from requirements definition through development, integration, and final delivery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and failure analysis to support manufacturing verification testing targets; working closely with multiple departments to draft requirements, statements of work, and verification plans aimed at improving product yields; and monitoring hardware obsolescence to ensure continuous streamlining. The role requires managing risks, allocating resources, creating schedules, and ensuring milestones are met with strict adherence to project budgets and timelines.

Another vital aspect of this role is providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative team environment to maintain high-performance standards. The Sub IPTL will act as the principal liaison for internal and external stakeholders, clearly communicating project status, potential risks, and identifying new opportunities for improvement. Participation in Change Control Boards (CCBs) for system change approvals and support in proposal development for future initiatives related to the value stream are also part of the duties.
