  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years relevant pastry experience preferred
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to bend stretch twist and reach regularly
  • ability to push or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently

  • ability to work flexible shifts including holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years professional pastry experience preferred
  • clean and neat in proper uniform including nametag and slip-resistant shoes
  • punctual and complies with sign-in procedures
  • ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and guests

  • flexibility to work shifts and days including holidays

Job Duties

  • specialist in trade techniques and methods of pastry and bakery
  • responsible for requisitions pars and orders for food stations
  • maintains quality inventory control
  • measures and mixes ingredients using electric mixers or by hand
  • shapes dough for cookies pies and fancy pastries
  • places shaped dough in pans and ovens
  • prepares and cooks ingredients for pie fillings puddings custards or other desserts
  • mixes ingredients to make icings
  • decorates cakes pastries and other creative desserts with focus on wedding cakes
  • follows recipe and production planning sheets
  • assists supervisor with putting together orders
  • helps orient new team members
  • assists less experienced cooks with understanding recipes
