The role of Sr. Operations Supervisor at Penske Logistics is a critical leadership position within the logistics and supply chain segment. They are also involved in the hiring process and engagement with customers to address operational needs and service expectations. A significant responsibility includes reviewing truck runs for efficiency based on account locations, volume, costs, and customer requirements, as well as identifying opportunities to optimize private fleet utilization.
This leadership role also encompasses financial oversight to ensure strict adherence to policies related to inventory accuracy, returns, damages, and cost control, while driving productivity targets and minimizing overtime. Job Duties
- Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce
