Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related area
  • Ability to conduct walk-throughs and ensure quality standards
  • Capability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, or marketing
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in managing event operations and budgets
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Proficiency in coordinating multi-departmental efforts

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute meetings and special events
  • Implement departmental strategies
  • Ensure seamless event turnover between sales and operations
  • Manage event operations and budgets
  • Conduct daily banquet floor walk-throughs to ensure client satisfaction
  • Develop vendor relationships and establish service agreements
  • Manage controllable expenses to meet budget goals
