Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related area
- Ability to conduct walk-throughs and ensure quality standards
- Capability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, or marketing
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in managing event operations and budgets
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Proficiency in coordinating multi-departmental efforts
Job Duties
- Plan and execute meetings and special events
- Implement departmental strategies
- Ensure seamless event turnover between sales and operations
- Manage event operations and budgets
- Conduct daily banquet floor walk-throughs to ensure client satisfaction
- Develop vendor relationships and establish service agreements
- Manage controllable expenses to meet budget goals
