Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent education
  • 1-2 years' experience in event management or conference services
  • Experience in luxury hotel settings preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Knowledge of Delphi and Opera systems
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations
  • Ability to handle billing accurately
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Capacity to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Good hearing and visual acuity

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent education
  • 1-2 years' experience in event management or conference services
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Delphi and Opera experience
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products and presentation
  • Knowledge of meeting room capacities and banquet set-up
  • Basic math skills for accurate billing
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Maintain strong client relations and ensure conference specifications are communicated and executed
  • Monitor and manage room blocks and meeting space according to contract
  • Review sales contracts and validate with clients via turnover letters
  • Monitor and enforce program deadlines and release unused meeting spaces
  • Produce and distribute Conference Resume and Banquet Event Orders prior to events
  • Accurately forecast group rooms and food and beverage revenues
  • Check sleeping room blocks and special concessions with group reservations agents
  • Participate in site visits and plan meetings for upcoming groups
