The hotel embodies Marriott's commitment to quality and guest satisfaction through its stylish environment, well-appointed rooms, and comprehensive hospitality services. The surrounding Capitol District location enriches the hotel experience with easy access to local attractions and a vibrant urban atmosphere. Employing a team of dedicated professionals, the hotel values innovative marketing strategies and meticulous operational management to enhance its visibility and competitive position in the marketplace.
The role of Marketing Coordinator at the Omaha Marriott Downtown is centered on driving awareness and revenue growth through dynamic marketing practices tailored to both the hotel and its diverse food and beverage offerings. The position involves the orchestration of comprehensive internal and external marketing campaigns that leverage traditional media, digital platforms, and strategic public relations initiatives. Working closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Operations, and the General Manager, the Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing innovative marketing strategies that align with Marriott International standards as well as internal brand directives. This includes ensuring consistency in design and messaging across all marketing materials and social media initiatives.
Responsibilities include creating compelling press releases, managing social media content across multiple channels for the hotel and its outlets, and overseeing the presence of the property on Marriott.com, third-party travel sites, and other web platforms. The Marketing Coordinator ensures harmony between the visual and messaging elements of marketing collateral, including signage, menus, and promotional flyers. A critical aspect of the role is collaboration with photographers and internal teams to produce captivating photographic content that highlights the hotel’s unique features and culinary experiences. The position also demands active participation in event planning and marketing meetings, serving as a liaison among the corporate office, property management, and external agencies.
In this capacity, the Marketing Coordinator must expertly handle analytics and campaign tracking tools to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ensure accurate attribution for all promotional activities. This data-driven approach supports continuous improvement and strategic marketing decisions across all platforms and campaigns. The role requires a blend of creativity, communication skills, and technical proficiency to successfully manage the marketing functions that drive growth and reinforce the Omaha Marriott Downtown's reputation within the hospitality industry. The position demands a proactive, organized, and innovative individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment committed to excellence and guest satisfaction.
