The role of the Marketing Manager at W Nashville is a pivotal position within the sales and marketing domain, designed for a management-level professional passionate about driving strategic marketing initiatives that elevate the hotel’s brand presence and revenue. This full-time position, based at the hotel’s Nashville location, offers a competitive salary range of $86,000 to $117,000 annually and includes bonus eligibility, reflecting the importance of the role to the hotel's success. As the discipline leader for marketing, this role holds responsibility for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the hotel’s business objectives and brand positioning. The manager will work closely with other top-line disciplines such as Sales and Revenue Management to create integrated strategies that drive top-line revenue and meet RevPAR and share-of-wallet targets. The position involves leadership duties including the oversight of marketing plans, budgets, and campaign execution, as well as hands-on management of the hotel’s digital presence, including websites, third-party channels, social media platforms, and digital content. Maintaining brand integrity across all marketing channels is a crucial aspect of the role.

The Marketing Manager will actively contribute to sales strategy meetings, ensuring marketing efforts are well-articulated and coordinated with overall sales goals. They will manage partnerships with internal teams and external vendors, optimizing marketing opportunities through third-party sites, local partnerships, and collaborative initiatives with Marriott Digital Services. Planning and executing promotional strategies in partnership with Revenue Management is another key facet of this role.

Content management responsibilities include setting hotel messaging strategies, managing online content across multiple platforms, overseeing photo assets, creating engaging landing pages, and handling guest communications such as confirmations and pre-arrival messages. Public relations strategy development and management also play an essential role, where the manager sets PR goals, supervises PR agencies, plans events, and manages promotional activities.

Additionally, the Marketing Manager will identify marketing opportunities for hotel outlets and ancillary services, working closely with Food and Beverage leadership to define and execute in-house programming. Overseeing social media strategy, budget, content calendars, and local event engagement rounds out the scope of this role.

Effective communication and relationship management will be fundamental to success, as the manager must collaborate closely with General Managers, Sales and Revenue leaders, regional teams, media representatives, and other stakeholders. The role also involves leadership in asset development, including hotel collateral and photoshoots, with responsibilities spanning from sourcing to distribution.
