Job Description

The company is deeply focused on protecting and growing its core business while amplifying its strengths and diversifying its offerings in strategically aligned areas. As a leader in the asset management industry, Janus Henderson prioritizes its values which are integral to its success and corporate culture. These values include putting clients first, executing decisively beyond intentions, fostering collaborative teamwork, embracing diversity as a driver for improved results, and building trust through honesty and transparency. The firm is a vibrant and inclusive workplace that promotes career growth, employee development, and a supportive community-centric work environment.

The Senior M&A Technology Change Manager role within Janus Henderson’s Strategic Transversal Change Division offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the technology strategy and execution surrounding mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships. This position is critical in ensuring that complex, high-value transactions are successfully delivered and aligned with the firm’s overarching corporate objectives. The role acts as a strategic partner to the Integration Management Office, providing advisory services to senior executives regarding technology implications of M&A deals. Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end technology operating model for M&A activities, defining integration and separation strategies, and directing senior technology leaders across various teams such as Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Network, Cybersecurity (CISO), Technology Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, and the Technology COO team.

This position requires a forward-thinking leader capable of chairing governance forums and steering committees, driving scalable and reproducible M&A technology operating models, and introducing standardized playbooks, tooling, frameworks, and delivery methodologies that enhance consistency, speed, and quality of execution across all transactions. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as the manager must respond dynamically to shifting business demands. Janus Henderson offers a hybrid working environment, generous holidays, health and wellbeing benefits, and ample support for professional growth, including tuition reimbursement and leadership development programs. The role promises a competitive base salary in the range of $150,000 to $170,000, with additional annual discretionary bonus opportunities tied to company and individual performance. This position is ideal for seasoned professionals with proven experience leading global cross-functional programs, particularly technology changes related to M&A transactions within the asset management industry. It comes with no direct supervisory responsibilities but involves matrix management and collaboration across multiple technology domains. Janus Henderson is dedicated to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity within its workforce and encourages all qualified candidates to apply, regardless of background, while offering accommodations during the recruitment process.
